A Guinness Record attempt for EWC's 35th anniversary!

Encounters with Canada will soon celebrate its 35th anniversary – in 2017, the same year that Canada will celebrate its 150th!

To mark this historic occasion, the EWC team will attempt to set a Guinness Record® for the largest work of art made with pins.

Want to be part of history? It’s easy! Send us as many pins as you can!

Here are some ideas for pins:

  • Your province
  • Your city/town
  • Your school
  • Your favourite sports teams – professional or local
  • Your Rotary/Lions Clubs
  • Your scout/guide groups
  • Other community organizations

Also:
Special pins that celebrate

  • Festivals
  • Carnivals
  • Community parties
  • Sports events
  • Social causes
  • Historic occasions
  • An old pin collection…

You get the idea. And when in doubt, send everything you’ve got!

During the year 2015-2016, EWC will gather as many pins as possible. An artist will then help us assemble all the pins to create a stupendous work of art, holding special meaning for Canadian youth, Encounters with Canada and our country.

Won’t you please help us set this Guinness World Record®!
