A little bit about EWC

Encounters with Canada is the nation’s largest youth forum. The program offers an opportunity for young people from all across Canada, aged 14 – 17, to learn more about our country. There are various themes to choose from including Arts and Culture, Ecology and Environment, Experience Canada, International Affairs, Medicine and Health, Law, Journalism and Communications, and several others.

Students are made aware of the program through a school representative and, if interested, apply to attend. Their application is then forwarded to a Regional Coordinator whose role it is to carry through the process of application. Once received and accepted, the Coordinator sends an access code to the school representative.
