MP Svend Robinson speaks to Law participants
Svend Robinson, MP (1979-2004), one of the longest-serving members in the House of Commons, representing the Vancouver-area constituency of Burnaby, BC, for the New Democratic Party, spoke to EWC’s Law participants at the Centre. He was the first MP in Canadian history to come out as homosexual while in office; he had previously met participants in 1982.
