This week I had the amazing opportunity to participate in an experience of a lifetime. Encounters with Canada is a program where students from all over Canada with similar interests gather together to learn career skills that you can carry with you into your adult years.

I have had the opportunity this week to participate in the media and communications week at Encounters with Canada in Ottawa. It has been an unforgettable experience where I have met people from across Canada and was introduced to other cultures.

From April 22 to 28, 115 participants visited Parliament, connected with nature at the Ottawa Carleton Wildlife Centre, discovered the Gatineau Park, explored the Laflèche cave, and learned about Environmental Sciences at the St Lawrence River institute.
