Director General Linda Brunet announces launch of EWC Alumni Community

“I am proud to announce the official launch of the alumni section of our Encounters' website, a project dear to my heart. It represents our very own community of past participants - linked together, through us, for the very first time. A little like our very own Facebook!”

 “Through the EWC Alumni Community, we hope to provide value for our alumni, more than 84,000 strong, providing them with search capabilities to locate old friends made while attending their week-long Encounters session, a message board to chat and share opinions, a place to sign up for or organize alumni reunions, a photo gallery to share their pictures (past and present) – and so much more!”

 “I encourage our alumni to join our national alumni association – and hopefully become involved at the provincial/territorial level, as well. I extend an invitation to all of you with a strong affiliation for Encounters with Canada to register now online for our new EWC Alumni Community. Welcome back to EWC!”
