Ottawa – December 18, 2009 – Forty students from British Columbia (BC) and across the country have been selected to attend and report on their experiences at the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. OTTAWA, ON, December 11, 2009 — The Encounters with Canada Support Foundation (EWCSF) has become the newest partner of the Historica-Dominion at the Games project. Joining distinguished collaborators such as the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) and 2010 Legacies Now, the Foundation will supply forty Encounters with Canada (EWC) participants and four staff with jackets, shirts, hats and scarves to be worn during the Historica-Dominion at the Games project at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. More
"Arts Alive" brings a dozen or more professional artists for a series of dynamic workshops! Participants meet and work with established artists in the disciplines of songwriting, dance, clay sculpture, calligraphy, watercolour painting, improvisation, and more. Visits to galleries, theatres and other cultural institutions in our nation's capital round out this colourful EWC experience!
