EWC's Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre is a fun, welcoming and beautiful space, designed with you in mind! Everything you need for an exceptional EWC experience is ready and waiting for you.
At the Centre
- Dorms: two 29-bed and two 40-bed dormitories for a total of 138 beds (on two floors - 69 beds per floor). Individual lockers, 32 showers and 8 toilets are available in the dorms
- 6 Private Rooms: 3 private rooms per floor, two of which have shared washrooms; the third has ensuite facilites
- Training/Meeting Rooms: 1 conference room, 6 classroom-style meeting rooms, AV equipment, a telecom system
- Cafeteria / Auditorium: accommodates up to 200 people, has a raised stage/podium, sound system, movie screen, projector/computer system, stage/dance floor lighting
- Professional Kitchen: an on-site chef and kitchen staff provide professional meal preparation and service
- Lounge & Resource Centre: lots of comfy sofas, a stocked library, a big-screen TV, DVD/VCR, video games, board games, musical instruments, etc.
- Internet Café: 21 work stations
- Games Room: foosball, ping-pong tables, and more
- Security & Reception Services: on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Panic buttons are located throughout the Centre for emergencies.

- Bob's Canteen: on-site convenience store for essentials
- Infirmary: with first-aid supplies

- In-house travel agency - transportation: Let us take care of getting your people here and back! Bytown Travel is right on-site, and is equipped to make your travel reservations and issue tickets. We can also coordinate local transportation for your group.
- In-house chef & kitchen staff: We offer professional food preparation and service, special meals for dietary restrictions, menu planning, boxed lunches, food-wine selection for cocktails/banquets, pastries/cakes, elaborate fare and more!
- Event planning - communications: Get professional event coordination, promotion through our educational networks, speech-writing and communications advice.
- Programming: Let us plan/coordinate your cultural/educational trips, sports/leisure activities, and visits to local tourist attractions. Our educators/speakers/experts from diverse sectors can also help you develop your conferences, workshops, teaching materials, and so on.
- Tech support & specialized technical equipment: video cameras, digital cameras, etc., are available on-site
- Nurse: on duty daily in infirmary

Our centre is available for rental in December, January, May, June, July and August. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Ottawa and close to all modes of transportation, our top-notch residential conference complex is perfect for youth groups, meetings, workshops, fundraisers, retreats, conferences and special events. Our professional staff can work with you to make your experience a memorable one!
